Projects in the ESE group
The ESE group is involved in a multitude of electronics projects for specific CERN experiments, common projects across experiments and finally generic R&D activities.

Experiment specific projects for the 5 LHC experiments (ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb and TOTEM) and fixed target experiments (NA62/NA48).
Common projects have developed general purpose front-end and readout chips and systems used across a multitude of experiments at CERN and also outside CERN (look under finalized common projects).
Common R&D projects have been initiated to prepare the ground for SLHC upgrade programs (also termed DG white paper R&D program). These R&D activities are currently planned over a period of 2008 - 2011 with defined goals and milestones.
The ESE group is also involved in Technology Transfer (TT) programs mainly for medical Imaging.
